Boujaad rug size 110 x 267 cm.

Casa W handpicks all our vintage rugs in Morocco ourselves and spends a long time selecting just the right ones. All our rugs are unique and full of patina and soul - products with a story.

This Boujaad runner is a great size that fits in many places. The material is wool

The vintage rugs are hand-woven in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco – typically originating from the Beni M'Guild, Boujaad, Azilal, or Beni Ourain/Mamousha tribes. The rugs are made of 100 percent sheep's wool, which is naturally dyed, and the beauty of the rugs lies in the color combinations – a palette of muted shades that have faded over time. The rugs are full of beautiful shapes and symbolism. Each individual rug tells its own story, rooted in a strong tribal tradition and the weaver’s narrative.

It is important to point out that since these rugs are often vintage and may be more than 50 years old, they will show signs of wear accordingly. Small holes or stains may occur.
