Boujaad rug size 130 x 272 cm.

Casa W personally handpicks all of our vintage rugs in Morocco and spends a long time choosing the perfect ones. All of our rugs are unique pieces with plenty of patina and soul - products with a story.

This Boujaad runner is a good size that fits in many places. The material is wool

The vintage rugs are hand-woven in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco – and typically come from the Beni M'Guild, Boujaad, Azilal, or Beni Ourain/Mamousha tribes. The rugs are made of 100 percent sheep's wool, which is naturally dyed, and the beauty of the rugs lies in the color combinations – a palette of muted shades that have faded over time. The rugs are full of beautiful shapes and symbolism. Each individual rug tells its own story, rooted in a strong tribal tradition and the weaver’s narrative.

It is important to point out that as these rugs are often vintage and may be more than 50 years old, they will also show signs of wear. Small holes or stains may occur.
